Doing our part for National Diabetes Month
November 5, 2011 | Posted by admin | 1 Comment
National Diabetes Month is a time when the country officially recognizes the implications of diabetes in the United States and around the world. Everyone is getting involved; the President, the ADA, and the JDRF.
Telcare’s getting involved too: the Blue Circle Campaign is “the universal symbol for diabetes. The purpose of the diabetes symbol is to give diabetes a common identity. Until 2006, there was no global symbol for diabetes. It aims to support all existing efforts to raise awareness about diabetes, inspire new activities, and bring diabetes to the attention of the general public.”
We love the goals of this mission. To do our part, we’ve added the Blue Circle to our Twitter picture and our Facebook picture. Make sure to do your part by adding the Blue Circle to your social network profiles, too!
